Line 130 freeride skiProduct DescriptionThe Line Prophet 130 is the original 130mm waisted powder ski that defined the category, and is still leading the charge. The Early Rise design pioneered today's rockered tip craze and still out performs the competition with the perfect balance between rise and length. Combined with the unique Early Taper, the Prophet 130 has the ultimate formula for maximizing float without hooking or sacrificing handling on groomers. The 130 floats effortlessly in the deep with plenty of camber, sidecut and a responsive flex for carving up groomers like no other ski its size. The engineering was driven by Eric Pollard who was quick to point out that one of the most critical factors in a skis design to keep it afloat in the powder was the tip geometry. At that time, most skis shared the same tip rise and profile. Line completely re-invented the tip shape using multiple radii to give it a very subtle Early Rise so that it would automatically be angled up out of the snow, then plane on top for consistent float. Early Taper moves the widest point of the ski down from tip, so when the 130s are on edge, the ski will not hook up in pow.
