4FRNT VCT freeride skiProduct DescriptionPro skier Vincent Dorion designed the 4FRNT VCT freeride ski for backcountry riding. Over the years, the VCT has become an equally respected all mountain ski and a powder ski. The VCT is one of the most liked skis by the 4FRNT team for these very reasons. The newly integrated HI-LITE wood core and Q-45 fiberglass weave technology furthers the VCT's reputation in all conditions. The VCT comes in 4 lengths, each with a surface area wide enough for powder days but also responsive in variable snow conditions. The VCT is a go-to everyday ski for riders in the west. Surprisingly light for its size, the VCT also makes a great touring setup. Specs: 189cm 134-108-126 5 lbs per ski 28m turn radius 182cm 129-104-121 4.6 lbs per ski 27.6m turn radius 175cm 129-104-121 4.2 lbs per ski 25.1m turn radius 168cm 124-100-116 3.8 lbs per ski 24m turn radius Construction: Hi-Lite wood core ABS sidewalls X4 dampening system Q45 fiberglass weave Gloss Top topsheet Isosport sintered 2000 base Full wrap metal edges As written by Torgrim Vole (Norway): VCT 189: Without a doubt my all-time favourite. A ski you can either jump, shred or just cruise with. I love being able to switch between tree-runs, slopes and even the bigger lines without having to waste time going to the car to change skis. They prefer the steeper areas though. VCT 182: Nothing less than a big-mountain ski with pop. I like the fact that me, being a light-weight, I am able to pop ollies and nollies of small cliffs and drops. Superb for bc-jibbing and park-riding also. I think fun is the word that describes this ski the best. As written by CR Johnson (USA): I find the VCT 189 to to be one of the most fun skis I have ridden. I'll take it out in deep powder conditions with great results, and take it into the park with an equally satisfying performance. Even with being more of a "fat" ski, I find it to ride the entire mountain in all conditions very well. The width of the ski provides great stability, and the turn radius makes it very responsive. I have a great time riding this ski all year round. As written by Wiley Miller (USA): This ski rips, hands down. I love riding this ski when there is fresh snow and I'm planning on skiing a bunch of different terrain. Probably one of the versatile skis in my quiver, It's the one I grab when I'm not 100% sure if it's gonna be jumps, lines or mini-golf, this stick sends it all. As written by Erich Kunz (USA): If 4FRNT had to cutback and only produce one ski I would go to war for the VCT. If you’re steering clear of the terrain park, this ski should be the only one in your quiver. From taking on lines, slashing through the trees and hitting features outside of the resort the VCT is where it’s at, not to mention Bedard slayed the top sheet graphics.
